Ripple is a lighting exploration derives from traditional woodworking techniques such as steam-bending and staves construction. While having the same curvature, the steam-bent staves alternate around a circle to shape a rhythmic form. Each piece is carefully carved into a specific shape that get thinner and thinner to the edges. The warm and soft light accentuates the beauty of natural wood grain, creating a calm atmosphere in the space.
