Ply is a seating collection that emphasizes the intricate patterns and joinery of solid plywood. Instead of being carved from a single block, these pieces are assembled by stacking two or three layers of pre-cut, 21mm thick plywood panels. The seats and backrests, made from acrylic, have a clear front and a frosted back. This feature distinctively showcases the details of the materials beneath, while blurring the other elements, providing a unique visual contrast.
